This Directorate strives to promote exports from the State by way of monitoring
the following activities.

Creation of better infrastructure
like EPIP for boosting exports.

Providing Overseas marketing
information and overseas trade enquiries to the potential exporters.

Liasioning with Central Government,
State Government Departments, Export Promotion Agencies to iron out
difficulties encountered by the exporters of the
State.

Presenting export awards annually
to the best exporters of the State with a view to generate competitiveness
amongst the exporters of the State.

Conduct workshop, Seminars,
Training Program etc. in collaboration with recognized national level institutions
likeIIFT, DGFT, SISI, ECGC, EPCs. Etc.

Re-dressing the grievances
of the exporters by taking up their problems with EPCs. Commodity Boards and other
Government of India Offices.

Publishing and circulating
information, circulars on exports and imports through the EP&M News letters.

Assist potential exporters
in providing know how to enter in to the export market.

Assures quality of stores supplied
to Govt. Depts. and Agencies under control of Govt. by way of Pre-delivery
inspection and Post delivery inspection.

Participates as a Member in
the Purchase Committee Meetings of the different Government Departments/ Agenciesabove District Level to protect the interest of
MSEs.
