This Directorate strives to promote exports from the State by way of monitoring the following activities.

*  Creation of better infrastructure like EPIP for boosting exports.

*  Providing Overseas marketing information and overseas trade enquiries to the potential exporters.

*  Liasioning with Central Government, State Government Departments, Export Promotion Agencies to iron out difficulties encountered by the exporters of the        State.

*  Presenting export awards annually to the best exporters of the State with a view to generate competitiveness amongst the exporters of the State.

*  Conduct workshop, Seminars, Training Program etc. in collaboration with recognized national level institutions likeIIFT, DGFT, SISI, ECGC, EPCs. Etc.

*  Re-dressing the grievances of the exporters by taking up their problems with EPCs. Commodity Boards and other Government of India Offices.

*  Publishing and circulating information, circulars on exports and imports through the EP&M News letters.

*  Assist potential exporters in providing know how to enter in to the export market.

*  Assures quality of stores supplied to Govt. Depts. and Agencies under control of Govt. by way of Pre-delivery inspection and Post delivery inspection.

*  Participates as a Member in the Purchase Committee Meetings of the different Government Departments/ Agenciesabove District Level to protect the interest of        MSEs.
